Home-Brewing Kombucha
Learn all about Kombucha tea and how to brew it! While a 16 oz bottle of kombucha tea can cost $3+, brewing your own makes it extremely cheap, it’s easy, and it's fun!
Traced back to Chinese origins, this fermented drink is made with a kombucha mushroom- also known as a SCOBY, or symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast. Kombucha tea, which tastes like hard apple cider/vinegar, is said to have beneficial probiotics for the digestive system and detoxifying effects, and it has even been claimed to cure ailments such as cancer.
